PlayStation Plus has confirmed its game lineup for January 2026. The new games include Need for Speed: Unbound, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, and Core Keeper.
Sony announced that these three games will be available to all PlayStation Plus members from January 6 to February 2, according to PlayStation.com.
Players should also remember that they have until January 5 to add December’s free games to their library. December’s games include LEGO Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, The Outlast Trials, Sinduality: Echo of Ada, and Neon White.
Need for Speed Unbound, released in 2022, is one of the most popular racing games on the PS5. It gives racing fans a chance to experience the newest version of this well-known series. The game includes separate modes for single-player and multiplayer, allowing players to enjoy the game on their own or compete with others. Players are challenged to race against the clock, avoid the police, and take part in weekly events to reach the biggest street racing competition in Lakeshore, known as The Grand.
In our review of Need for Speed Unbound, we noted that the game stays close to the core gameplay of 2019’s Need for Speed Heat. However, it stands out with its bold and eye-catching animated art style, which gives the game a fresh and unique look.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is now available on both PS4 and PS5. It is a beautifully updated version of the original game that was first released on the Nintendo Wii in 2010. In this 3D platform game, players control Mickey Mouse as he explores Wasteland, a strange world filled with forgotten Disney characters. Players will also meet Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, who was Walt Disney’s first famous character, created before Mickey Mouse.
In my preview of Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, I mentioned that what stood out the most was how modern the game feels. Even though it is a remake of an older title, it looks great and plays smoothly, making it feel like a game made for 2024.

The final game on the list is Core Keeper, which is available on both PS4 and PS5. It is a mining and adventure game that can be played by one to eight players. In the game, players collect valuable items and resources, create better tools and equipment, build their own base, and explore a world that changes and grows as they play.
Core Keeper is also set to receive a big update called Void & Voltage on January 28, 2026, and it will also be coming to the Switch 2. This makes it a great time for new players to jump into the game. The update will add a new area called Breaker’s Reach, a new boss named Sahabar, an advanced automation table, and several other new features.
