A few days ago, the company that makes Pokémon Go, Niantic, said they were having a special event called A Shockingly Good Time. It sounded like an event with some Electric-type Pokémon. Some players noticed something weird.
When they looked at the rewards for the event, some of them were hidden. The special hour, on April 1 only, said Pikachu would be there. It did not say what else might happen. This made people think that maybe something big was going to happen.

What Happened in the Game

Each day has an hour from 6 to 7 p.m. Where we can see different electric-type Pokémon. After we saw Mimikyu on Wednesday, the rest of the schedule is like this:

The event also has a chance of getting shiny Pikachu, Chinchou, and Dedenne.
